[A new canal obturation system: the H. Martin Endotec. 1. Preliminary experimental studies]

Thirty-five freshly extracted human teeth with necrotic pulps were used to evaluate in vitro the ability of the Endotec to fill the root canals. Two experimental series showed the best results are obtained by combining the Endotec to fill the apical third with the McSpadden compactor to fill the two coronal thirds.
