Optimizing inhaler use by pharmacist-provided education to community-dwelling elderly

Pharmacist education significantly improved inhaler technique scores in elderly patients within a PACE program. This improved inhaler use was sustained for at least four weeks, demonstrating the benefit of proper medication administration education.
