[Periodontal status of a military group. Epidemiological considerations]

The authors studied the periodontal status of a group of Italian soldiers. The authors used the Community Periodontal Index for Treatment Needs, as suggested by the FDI according with the WHO. Besides they carried out a statistical analysis of the results. It was possible to point out bad periodontal conditions in the population examined.
