  • To assess the integrity of white matter tracts connecting regions with aberrant functional connectivity.
  • To examine the coupling between inter-hemispheric functional and structural connectivity in IA.

  • Voxel-mirrored homotopic connectivity (VMHC) was employed to analyze RSFC.

  • Multimodal neuroimaging approaches offer valuable insights into the brain effects of IA.
