PDGF upregulates CLEC-2 to induce T regulatory cells

Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) inhibits dendritic cell (DC) maturation and promotes T regulatory cell generation. This occurs via PDGF upregulating C-type lectin like receptor 2 (CLEC-2) on DCs, which induces T regulatory cells.
