[Nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs in therapy of rapidly progressing periodontal disease]

Authors have reviewed pathogenetic mechanism underlying tissue damages in periodontal disease. In addition they have discussed the mechanism of action of antiinflammatory drugs different from steroids and have evaluated the possible use of these drugs in the treatment of destructive periodontal disease.
