    • Missing insulin vials and pens were discovered near the body, suggesting an insulin overdose.

    Observation:

    • Autopsy revealed signs of autolysis and bronchopneumonia as the cause of death.
    • Clinical tests confirmed insulin injection but showed hyperglycemia, while toxicology detected amphetamine, cannabinoids, and tramadol.

    Findings:

    • The death was attributed to bronchopneumonia, not insulin overdose.
    • Evidence suggests a failed self-treatment attempt for presumed diabetes.

    Implications:

    • The case highlights the dangers of self-diagnosing and self-treating medical conditions, especially with illicit drug use.
