Abstract:
Delirium is common in hospitalized patients and apart from well known vascular, infectious and toxic causes there are many endocrine diseases which may also present as an acute confusional state. The review provides an overview of the different endocrine etiologies of delirium and the prompt diagnosis and treatment.
