Cemented and uncemented total hip arthroplasty using the same femoral component

This study found no significant difference in femoral stem survivorship up to 20 years after total hip arthroplasty, regardless of whether cement was used. While cemented stems showed slightly more loosening, overall survival rates were comparable for cemented and uncemented hip implants.
