Esophageal resection for giant leiomyoma

Summary

A large esophageal leiomyoma caused swallowing difficulties and dyspnea in a 55-year-old female. Surgical removal via transthoracic esophagectomy led to a full recovery, confirming the benign tumor diagnosis.
