Background:

Angiomyofibroblastoma (AMF) is an uncommon benign mesenchymal neoplasm.
Superficial soft tissues, particularly the vulva, are the most common sites for AMF.
AMF typically affects individuals in their reproductive years.

Observation:

This report presents a rare case of AMF originating in the vagina.
The patient was a 46-year-old woman.
Histological features include alternating hypocellular and hypercellular zones with thin-walled vessels and perivascular stromal cell concentration.

Findings:

The case highlights a vaginal location for AMF, which is highly unusual.
The histological characteristics align with the established definition of AMF.
The tumor was benign, consistent with the nature of AMF.

Implications:

This case expands the known anatomical distribution of angiomyofibroblastoma.
It underscores the importance of considering AMF in the differential diagnosis of vaginal masses.
Further reporting of extragenital AMF cases may refine understanding of its behavior and origin.
