Is a Venacavogram Necessary after Inferior Vena Cava Filter Retrieval?

Venacavography after routine inferior vena cava (IVC) filter retrieval is often unnecessary, as abnormalities rarely impact patient management. However, it remains warranted after complex retrieval due to potential complications like extravasation.
