Summary

The Bactigen Salmonella-Shigella latex agglutination (LPA) method is a faster, more efficient tool for screening stool cultures for Salmonella and Shigella compared to the Enteric Pathogen Screen (EPS) method. LPA eliminates more irrelevant organisms, making it ideal for clinical labs.
