Abstract:
Functional endoscopic sinus surgery is a new approach to the diagnosis and management of sinusitis. The technique emphasizes accurate diagnostic evaluation and conservative surgery designed to restore normal drainage pathways. This report provides an overview of the theory and technique of this advance in treatment of chronic sinusitis.
