Femoro-tibial knee osteoarthritis: One or two X-rays? Results from a population-based study

The semi-flexed (schuss) X-ray view alone is sufficient for detecting knee osteoarthritis, including osteophytes and joint space narrowing. This single view reduces costs and radiation exposure compared to using two X-ray views.
