Microbial contamination and disinfection methods of pacifiers

Pacifiers are frequently contaminated with Mutans Streptococci (MS). Routine disinfection using 0.12% chlorhexidine spray or boiling water is more effective than Brushtox for preventing MS contamination and biofilm formation.
