  • To investigate the presence and formation of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) on TiO2 nanoparticles.
  • To assess the implications of POP contamination on TiO2 nanoparticles.

  • Analysis of commercially available TiO2 nanoparticles.
  • Identification of adsorbed POPs, including polychlorinated dibenzodioxins (PCDDs), polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs), and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
