Invasive Hemodynamic Characterization of the Portal-hypertensive Syndrome in Cirrhotic Rats

High preoperative anxiety, measured by the visual analog scale (VAS) and State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), correlates with significant hemodynamic changes in patients entering the operating room. Higher anxiety levels showed increased heart rate and blood pressure variations.
