Association between interleukin-22 genetic polymorphisms and bladder cancer risk

The interleukin-22 (IL-22) -429 C/T gene polymorphism is linked to an increased risk of bladder cancer. Specifically, the -429 TT genotype and T allele are associated with higher bladder cancer incidence.
