Acinar ventilation heterogeneity in COPD relates to diffusion capacity, resistance and reactance

This study found that acinar airway heterogeneity (Sacin) increases with COPD severity and correlates with lung function parameters like diffusion capacity. Bronchodilators did not affect this heterogeneity.
