Genetic polymorphisms in COL18A1 influence the development of osteosarcoma

The collagen type XVIII alpha 1 chain (COL18A1) D104N polymorphism is linked to osteosarcoma risk in Chinese individuals. Specifically, the NN genotype significantly increases osteosarcoma development risk.
