Written expression curriculum-based measurement (WE-CBM) shows longer test lengths improve accuracy in identifying at-risk students. Correct Writing Sequences (CWS) and Correct Minus Incorrect Writing Sequences (CMIWS) are most effective for predicting writing proficiency.
