Abstract:
We report a case of right upper lobe sleeve lobectomy in combination with carinal resection and reconstruction via video-assisted thoracoscopy surgery (VATS). A squamous cell carcinoma of stage T4N1M0 was identified on pathological examination. The bronchial anastomosis and carinal reconstruction were performed using a running suture with 3-0 prolene and an interrupted suture. The postoperative course was uneventful.
