Abstract:
Abdominal aortic reconstruction was successfully performed in three kidney transplant patients without the use of any specific measures to protect the kidney transplant during aortic cross-clamping. The cases are discussed in relation to previously published case reports describing various surgical techniques to protect kidney transplants during abdominal aortic reconstruction.
