Cytologic diagnosis of primary squamous cell carcinoma of Bartholin's gland

A case of squamous cell carcinoma of Bartholin's gland in which a cytologic diagnosis by a VCE smear was suggested is described. This case demonstrates the value of a VCE smear in diagnosing malignancy in an accessory organ of the vulva which aided in early surgical treatment.
