Relationship between Vitamin D Status and Striae Distensae: A Case-Referent Study

Low Vitamin D (VD) levels are linked to a higher occurrence of Striae Distensae (SD) after mammaplasty. This study found significantly lower serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D in women who developed these skin marks.
