Abstract:
Physician adoption of electronic health records (EHRs) has increased greatly over the last decade. It's been a bumpy ride for many. It is critical for vendors and physician practices to understand the impact EHRs will have on disrupting the physician process and workflow. A big part of dealing with that disruption is to have a good change management process established that creates reasonable expectations, anticipates changes, and sets a strong foundation for success.
