Anthracycline chemotherapy impacts biventricular cardiac function in children with acute hematological malignancies. Tissue Doppler imaging (TDI) and 2D speckle tracking echocardiography (2D-STE) reveal early diastolic dysfunction in the right ventricle and longitudinal systolic impairment in the left ventricle.
