Abstract:
Two cases of coronary sinus thrombosis with myocardial changes suggestive of "haemorrhagic infarsation" as the cause of death of cardiac transplantant recipients are presented. The discussion points to the macroscopical and histologic findings completely different from those seen in myocardial infarction induced by coronary artery occlusion.
