Meticulous cecal image documentation at colonoscopy is associated with improved polyp detection

Endoscopists with higher quality cecal image documentation achieve a greater polyp detection rate (PDR). Meticulous documentation, assessed by the cecal image documentation score (CIDS), independently predicts increased polyp detection, especially in the right colon.
