Summary

Stimulating multiple electrodes with electrical signals in cochlear implants affects interaural timing difference (ITD) sensitivity. While multi-electrode ITD sensitivity is generally poorer than single-electrode, stimulating along the whole cochlear array improves performance compared to limited stimulation.
