Management of incontinence: a urological approach

This article reviews a urologist's approach to urinary incontinence with particular reference to incontinence in men. Many of the general remarks apply equally to men and women and in choosing to refer your patient to a urologist for further management of incontinence, the decision should seldom be based solely on the sex or age of the patient but on concomitant urological symptoms.
