Fetal monitoring during labor is crucial for assessing well-being.
Umbilical artery Doppler velocimetry is a non-invasive tool to evaluate fetal circulation.

Purpose of the Study:

To compare Doppler flow velocimetry with fetal heart rate tracings.
To assess the correlation between Doppler measurements and fetal outcomes.

Main Methods:

Doppler flow velocimetry (systolic/diastolic ratio, pulsatility index) was performed on 273 laboring patients.
Fetal heart rate tracings were recorded concurrently and compared.
Correlation with fetal distress, Apgar scores, intubation needs, and cord blood gases was analyzed.
