[Narcolepsy syndrome--clinical aspects, diagnosis, therapy]

The present paper gives an updated overview over the clinical symptomatology, diagnostic procedures and therapy of the narcolepsy syndrome as a variable, disabling condition, whose diagnosis is sometimes not easy to make. Special attention is paid to new and promising diagnostic developments.
