A case of hypoxic brain damage consequent to ligature strangulation
Abstract:
A case of delayed death following strangulation is reported. A 43-year-old woman died 18 days after being subjected to strangulation. The autopsy and neuropathological findings are presented. Informatively, enzymatic immunohistochemical techniques were used for the neuropathological investigation.
