Interplay between serotonin and cannabinoid function in the amygdala in fear conditioning

This study reveals that serotonin 5-HT4 receptors in the basolateral amygdala modulate fear memory consolidation impairment induced by CB1 receptor activation. This suggests a key role for serotonin in regulating fear memory.
