[Macronodular hepatic tuberculosis. Echographic diagnosis of 2 cases]
Abstract:
Two cases of macronodular hepatic tuberculosis are reported. In both cases primary or metastatic liver tumor had been suspected Hepatic tuberculosis was diagnosed by ultrasonically guided percutaneous fine-needle biopsy. Percutaneous needle biopsy of the liver appears to be a safe and valuable procedure for differentiating systemic or infiltrative diseases such as tuberculosis from primary or metastatic liver tumor.
