Abstract:
Psychological disturbance is presumed to express itself in a relatively small and unique patter of responses; a disturbed individual is somewhat unlike most other individuals, both normal and disturbed. A pertinent assessment approach is to select a representative scoring sample. Using the answer sheets of these subjects as keys, all other subjects are scored on them. A subject's total score is the sume of his scores on the answer sheets of the scoring sample.
