Sympathetic Activation is Associated with Exercise Limitation in COPD

Increased muscle sympathetic nerve activity (MSNA) is linked to exercise limitation in COPD patients. This heightened sympathetic response during exercise may contribute to reduced exercise capacity and intolerance in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
