To design and demonstrate gradient-index dielectric lenses for efficient fan-beam generation.
To explore the use of coordinate transformation in creating 3D GRIN lens architectures.
To investigate the performance of these lenses over a broad frequency range.

Main Methods:

Utilizing coordinate transformation to compress air spaces and generate GRIN lens profiles.
Employing 3D modeling by revolving transformational media to create barrel-vault architectures.
Constructing fan-beam lenses using multi-layered dielectrics with non-uniform perforations.
