Essential Fatty Acids as Transdermal Penetration Enhancers

Essential fatty acids (EFAs) were evaluated as penetration enhancers for transdermal flurbiprofen delivery. Evening primrose oil (EPO) demonstrated the most favorable enhancement in this formulation.
