Serum heart-type fatty acid binding protein (H-FABP) levels are not significantly different in hyperthyroidism patients compared to healthy individuals. This study found no association between H-FABP and thyroid hormone levels in hyperthyroidism.

Conclusions:
- Serum H-FABP levels are not altered in individuals with hyperthyroidism.
- H-FABP does not appear to be a reliable biomarker for thyroid dysfunction in this study population.
