Patients with ischemic stroke have lower levels of Factor VII (FVII), Factor VIIa-antithrombin complexes (FVIIa-AT), and total tissue factor (TF), but higher levels of tissue factor-bearing microparticles (MPs-TF). Alteplase treatment showed a minor effect on FVII levels.
