Abstract:
Rehabilitation in the true sense includes the prevention of unnecessary painful conditions and injury. Pre-exercise screening and proper exercise prescription may eliminate factors likely to cause a painful condition. When treatment for the older exercising adult is indicated, extra time to alleviate the condition is often required.
