No association between exacerbation frequency and stroke in patients with COPD

Frequent exacerbations in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) did not increase stroke risk. However, higher exacerbation frequency was linked to a decreased risk of hemorrhagic stroke in COPD patients.
