Relationship between uric acid and blood pressure in different age groups

Serum uric acid (UA) is linked to blood pressure (BP) in younger adults, but this association weakens significantly in individuals aged 60 and over. This study highlights age-related differences in the UA-BP relationship, particularly for hypertension risk.
