Higher educational attainment may protect against motor deficits in Parkinson's disease (PD). Even with similar disease duration and dopamine transporter loss, individuals with more education showed fewer motor symptoms.

- Higher educational attainment is associated with reduced motor deficits in Parkinson's disease.
- This protective effect may occur despite comparable dopaminergic neurodegeneration.
