Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is a highly effective procedure for severe osteoarthritis.
Patient satisfaction is a critical outcome measure following TKA.

Purpose of the Study:

To review and summarize recent literature on patient satisfaction after TKA.
To analyze factors contributing to patient dissatisfaction post-TKA.

Main Methods:

Literature review and synthesis of studies on TKA patient satisfaction.
Categorization of satisfaction determinants (patient-related) and components (surgical/rehabilitation).

Main Results:

Patient satisfaction is influenced by demographics, expectations, comorbidities, and arthroplasty severity.
