Tuberculosis meningitis can cause psychotic disorders. Prompt treatment with antituberculosis drugs and steroids led to full recovery in a young woman with confirmed Mycobacterium tuberculosis PCR in her cerebrospinal fluid.

- Empirical treatment with antituberculosis drugs and steroids was initiated.
- The patient experienced a complete resolution of psychotic symptoms within one month of treatment.
