Ocular spherical aberration decreases as nuclear cataracts progress. This is due to a negative correlation between lenticular spherical aberration and nuclear opacity severity, impacting vision quality.

  • Wavefront analysis using a Hartmann-Shack aberrometer on 102 eyes.
